The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Police Knife that features a 4.15" serrated blade made of VG10 stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a hollow grind, a top swedge, Police etch and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel handle, 5.32" closed, has a Boye Dent lockback. A removable steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Police Knife with serrated blade has an overall open length of 9.47", and it weighs 5.6 ounces. Made in Japan.

It's been a while since I wanted to have this Spyderco Police fully-serrated blade model. Finally, I pulled the trigger and got one with an engraving service. I purchases several knives from Knivesplus in the past and I also purchase their sharpening service usually since it adds value to my knife (extremely sharp). This time, I tried the laser engraving service on the stainless scale of this knife and completely satisfied with it. Their engraving matches very well with the knife model name 'POLICE' on the blade. Overall, I'm enjoying this Spyder edge knife very much.

One of the advantages of the new model with four position carry is that it can set up for your off hand to aid in emergency firearm retention.
I've had people say the model is too slippery and have two words. Skate tape. Great product with fast delivery.
