The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Reverse Knife, designed by Craig Douglas and Michael Janich, that features a 3.47" modified hawk bill fixed blade made of CTS BD1 stainless steel, .135" thick. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a flat grind and a wrist lanyard hole. The Reverse Knife has full tang construction with two piece reversible textured black G10 scales. A Boltaron sheath with multi position G-Clip is included with this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Reverse Knife has an overall length of 7.74" and it weighs 3.6 ounces. Made in Taiwan.
From the Spyderco website: The Reverse is a truly unique design collaboration from renowned edged-weapon trainers Craig Douglas (aka "Southnarc") and Michael Janich. At first glance, it appears to be a fixed-blade version of Douglas' popular P'Kal folder, which is purpose designed for his preferred system of "reverse-edge" tactics. However, a closer look reveals that the knife's two-piece G-10 handle can be reversed to yield mirror-image "edge-out" ergonomics. In either orientation, the exceptionally keen full-flat-ground CTS BD1 blade is ready for action and tucks neatly into a custom-molded Boltaron sheath. ...
