The illustrated Al Mar knife is the Al Mar Hawk knife that features a 2.5" flat ground AUS8 stainless steel drop point blade, .080" thick, with nail nick for opening. Slim handle with genuine Cocobolo Wood scales, 3.25" closed, front lock, stainless steel bolster and a lanyard hole. An embossed leather pouch is included with this Al Mar knife. The Al Mar Hawk knife has an overall open length of 5.75", and it weighs 1.5 ounces.

All Cocobolo wood handles will vary in color and striation, which is part of the uniqueness of natural handle materials.

The Al Mar Hawk is tough to beat for an EDC. Quality, Size (smaller...But I like smaller knives), and functionality are all there. All of that said, you guys should inspect items before mailing, as the knife had a pretty deep stain (maybe from some dried oil) on it which I was able to get most of it off...but to do so I ended up scratching the finish a bit. At this price point I'd like to see better QC.
