The illustrated Al Mar knife is the Al Mar Falcon Talon Ultralight knife that features a 3.15" AUS8 stainless steel blade, .080" thick, with a false top edge and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. Slim polished black linen micarta handle, 4" closed, with front lock. A front to back reversible Pro-Clip system is mounted at the butt end of this Al Mar knife. The Al Mar Falcon Talon Ultralight knife has an overall open length of 7.15", and it weighs 1.25 ounces.

if you're looking for a light, quality knife the falcon is for you. It is truly ultralight and razor sharp. I have to wear dress slacks to work and have always been bothered by the weight of most knives. In order to get to the ideal weight I would compromise on blade length. Not anymore. I removed the pocket clip and I barley notice I'm carrying it. The thumb stud allows for one hand opening. The action is smooth. The blade locks solidly into place. Only once did the blade not lock because I had a piece of pocket lint caught in the top. Once I cleared that the definitive snap as the blade locked returned. Solid buy.
