The illustrated Buck knife is the Finger Grooved Buck Ranger Knife that features a 3" clip point blade made of 420HC stainless steel, .120 inches thick, with a nail nick for opening. The Ebony handle of this Buck Knife, 4 1/4" closed, has finger grooves, brass bolsters and a lockback. A black genuine leather belt sheath is included with this Buck knife. The Buck Ranger Knife with finger grooved handle has an overall length of 7 1/4" when open, and it weighs 5.6 ounces. Made in the USA.

I bought one of these in the 80's and lost it. Always wanted to replace it and finally did. Still the same high quality you expect from a Buck knife. Fit and finish are excellent, finger grooves make such a huge difference over standard model. Razor sharp. I can't find anything I don't like about it. Would highly recommend this great knife. At 3", this is not the largest knife to be using but surprisingly, this solid little lockback is outperforming my bigger knives. It locks up solid and with the finger grooves it fits in my grasp just right. And it looks awesome doing it! This is not my first Buck but my grandson is in awe of this knife; I am just going to have to pass it on to him on his 14th birthday, perhaps with some engraving. It is that kind of knife, you know, yeah, just right. Sharp and strong, with a lot of brass (both bolsters); two months edc and I depend on this little Buck; it looks like it just came out of the box. It's good looking and it's a keeper (till my grandson gets it.)
