Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Becker Knife and Tool: Becker Campanion, BKT-2

The above illustrated Becker Knife and Tool Campanion features a heavy duty full tang construction. The blade, 5 1/4", is constructed of 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel with a matte black epoxy powder coat, 1/4" thick. The handle, 5 1/2", features an ergonomic solid black Ultramid construction with large screws holding everything together and an extended pommel with oversized lanyard hole. A black kydex sheath designed for belt carry is included with this knife.

I bought one of the BK2 knives about 15 years ago. It was great for taking down wood for fires and for all around bush work. I wore my down and needed a new one. I searched the net and found Knives Plus. This is a great site and has amazing customer service. I got my new BKT in a week. The store is staffed with professional and courteous people, and the price was perfect. This is an amazing knife for an amazing price, and is the be all and do all of bush knives. Having read reviews prior to making this purchase, all I can say this knife is a brute. Solid, heavy and ready to get the job done. I am not sure why people do not like the sheath. The price at the time of purchase was the lowest I could find. I will use Knives Plus in the future. Arrived in perfect condition and on time.

An overall awesome knife. Good weight, yet not too heavy for everyday carry. If you like a thick blade on a knife then this knife is for you. It's a small workhorse to say the least. Thanks knivesplus for a quality product, and unmatched shipping.
