The illustrated Cold Steel Shovel is the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel, modeled after the original Soviet Spetsnaz shovel, that features a 5.88" wide blade made of medium carbon steel, 2mm" thick. The blade has a broad, flat configuration, three sharp versatile edges and a black coat. The 19.68" long handle of this Cold Steel Shovel is made of hard wood. The Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel weighs approximately 26.6 ounces.

Handy little shovels 10/07/2022

We have been using these shovels for outplanting nursery-grown plants into natural forested areas for restoration projects in mountains of Hawaii. They are great for packing into the field, strong for digging holes of various sizes, and we love the sharpened edge for cutting through tree roots or other obstacles encountered while digging. Can't beat for the price for our needs!

This is amazing!!! Dig a hole quicker than a BADGER IN HEAT!! A little fine file work and it is NASTY sharp, In the words of Daniel Boone, " U could " KIL A BARR with this!!". I should have ordered the sheath . Knives Plus is a candy store for the MEN of the world!!!!
