Forschner Knives: Forschner Peeler, Double Cut, FO-5.0203.S
The illustrated Forschner Peeler is the Forschner Double Cut Peeler that features a 2 1/4" double cut blade made of high carbon stainless steel. The handle of this peeler is made of black nylon that is NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) approved.
Editor's note: These peelers are sharp! They have double cut edges that cut coming and going. The tips are made sharp and pointed to cut out potato eyes and bad spots. They may take a little getting used to if you've used those flimsy type peelers sold in grocery stores. Use light pressure and more of an angle and they peel quick and fast, use too much pressure and a high angle and they will dig in and stick. Once you figure them out I'm sure you will love them. I use them at the house myself!
