UPDATED CQI VERSION - Screw together construction!

The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Police Knife that features a 4.15" blade made of VG10 stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco knife has a hollow grind, a top swedge, Police etch and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel handle, 5.32" closed, has a Boye Dent lockback. A removable steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Police Knife with plain edge blade has an overall open length of 9.47", and it weighs 5.6 ounces. Made in Japan.

First of all, I would have to say that I LOVE this knife. I have nerve damage in my spine, so I wanted to buy a knife that would be easy to open one handed, so I did. The knife is a bit larger than I thought it would be once I received it, so the axis is a little off, so the knife is not as easy to open as I thought, but I suppose that is no fault of the knife, but with a little practice, I am starting to get it down. Knife is razor sharp out of the box, but I think I will have to take a class on how to keep it that way. Weight is very reasonable for the size, but the metal handle, though beautiful, can get a bit slippery. The clip makes it easy in and out of my front pocket. For most people looking for a EDC, I think a slightly smaller knife would be more than adequate, but the shock factor when you bring it out is hard to beat. All in all, great knife, if not a little overkill, but I am the type that loves overkill sometimes.

I would have given it a 5 star but since the last one I lost spyderco has changed up the pocket clip to a much cheaper version. The knife is a great knife still but the clip is a piece.
