Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The BK40 BKT Becker Folder is a value priced everyday carry, designed by Ethan Becker, that features a 3.559 inch matte drop point blade made of AUS 8A stainless steel, .138 inches thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-58, a flat grind, notched thumb rest for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black GFN-PA66 handle, 4.971 inches closed, has ergonomic contours for comfort, sturdy liner lock, large lanyard hole and a 4 position wire clip. The BKT Becker Folder has an overall open length of 8.5 inches, and it weighs 4.8 ounces. Made in China.
