Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Becker Knife and Tool: Becker Kephart Bushcraft Knife, BKT-62


The BK62 Becker Kephart Knife, designed by Horace Kephart (considered by many to be the father of modern day Bushcraft) features a 5.125 inch spear point fixed blade made of 1095 Cro-Van steel, .158 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58 and a matte finish. The Becker Kephart has full tang construction for strength, and beautiful walnut handle scales. A genuine leather sheath is included. The BK62 Kephart Knife has an overall length of 9.625 inches, and it weighs 6.4 ounces. Made in the USA.

All walnut handles will vary in color and striation, which is part of the uniqueness of natural handle materials.
