Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The Benchmade Mini Crooked River - an eye catching EDC for outdoorsmen and city folk alike, features a 3.40" clip point blade made of CPM-S30V premium stainless steel, .114" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60, a satin finish, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The ergonomic stabilized wood handle, 4.50" closed, has an anodized aluminum bolster with a bright orange aluminum pivot ring for visual interest, steel liners and a notched orange G10 back spacer for strength, the ambidextrous AXIS Lock, a lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade Mini Crooked River Knife has an overall open length of 7.89", and it weighs 3.29 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.
