Benchmade Knives: Benchmade Aller Fumee Knife, BM-381
The 381 Benchmade Aller Fumee Friction Folder, designed by Famin and Demongivert, is a compact gent's cigar cutter knife that features a 1.60 inch non locking sheepfoot blade made of premium CPM S30V stainless steel, .090 inches thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60, a chisel grind (for guillotine style action on cigars) and a lever for one hand opening (that functions as a bottle opener in the closed position). The chocolate brown and red multi Richlite handle, 3.30 inches closed, has a 56 ring gauge hole for cigars, a lanyard hole, a screwdriver / pry tip with integral micro bit slot, and a money clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade Aller Fumee Knife has an overall open length of 4.48 inches, and it weighs 1.60 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.
From the Benchmade website: As if six tools weren't enough, we've taken the Aller one step further. The new 381 Aller Fumee incorporates a 56 ring gauge cut-out window in the Richlite handle, turning this popular friction folder into a multi-purpose cigar cutter. The CPM-S30V guillotine blade profile is modified to provide a clean cut, without sacrificing standard performance features.
