The 486 Benchmade Saibu™, designed in collaboration with Seiichi Nakamura, is an eye catching everyday carry that features a 2.98 inch drop point blade made of premium CPM 20CV stainless steel, .11 inches thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 59-61, a satin finish and dual thumb studs with Cocobolo inlays for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black G10 handle, 3.81 inches closed, has milled slots with Cocobolo accents for visual appeal, stainless steel liners for strength, ambidextrous AXIS Lock, an unusual bamboo style metal backspacer with integral lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade Saibu™ has an overall open length of 6.79 inches, and it weighs 2.70 ounces. Made in the USA.
