The Benchmade 970 CQC7, designed by Ernest Emerson, is a discontinued item; BNIB.The 970 Benchmade CQC7 features a 3.25 inch tanto blade made of ATS 34 stainless steel with a chisel grind, notched thumb ramp for secure grip and a thumb disk for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black G10 handle, 4.75 inches closed, has titanium liners for strength, a sturdy liner lock, lanyard hole and steel pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. The Benchmade 970 CQC7 Knife has an overall open length of 8 inches, and it weighs 4.1 ounces. Proudly made in the USA circa 1996.
