The Griptilian Series in S30V! The 556 Benchmade Mini Griptilian is a compact workhorse of an EDC, designed by Mel Pardue, that features a 2.91 inch drop point blade made of CPM S30V premium stainless steel, .100 inches thick, with a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 3.87 inches closed, has checkered texturing and notches for secure purchase, sturdy AXIS Lock, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade 556 Mini Griptilian Knife has an overall open length of 6.78 inches, and it weighs 2.81 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

This is the third Griptilian I have purchased, this one was a gift. Can't recommend them highly enough. These are absolutely worth the price, and Knives Plus is great!

I own several Benchmade knives. All very good. This smaller version is my 2nd. All top quality. I like the bigger ones but the smaller is easier for EDC.
