The 15535 Benchmade Taggedout is an eye catching everyday carry that features a 3.50 inch clip point blade made of wear resistant CPM-154 stainless steel, .090 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-61, and the 17 degree SelectEdge®. The blade has a stonewash finish, a top swedge to lessen weight, a notched thumb rest for secure purchase, and an oval thumb slot for ambidextrous one hand opening. The bright orange Grivory® handle, 4.63 inches closed, has ergonomic contours and pebbled texturing for secure grip, orange aluminum back spacers, the sturdy AXIS Lock, large lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. This Benchmade Taggedout has an overall open length of 8.13 inches, and it weighs 2.10 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

What's not to like about this knife? Let me first extend a big appreciation to Knivesplus for lightening speed shipping which included the "want it to shave" service. I needed a back-up skinning/hunting knife that would pair nicely with my Benchmade Steep Country-this is it! Yes, it's a folder but it's more than a folding knife. Benchmade designed this to be more than just an EDC blade. I researched this knife extensively before purchasing it and the only negative I could find is the flip-open action-which I personally like. The CPM-154 steel is like a razor and it's holding an edge just as if it was the S30V steel. The Taggedout is so light, I don't even know It's in my pocket. The color is robust and it has a great grip, even when it's wet-which will make it a nice gutting/ skinning blade for the Michigan deer season. Don't hesitate on buying this blade even with a $180.00 dollar price tag, because soon it will be $280.00 due to the popularity.
