The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the Benchmade Emissary 477 Knife, designed by Warren Osborne, that features a 3.45" drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .100" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade of this Benchmade Knife has a satin finish, dual thumb studs and AXIS Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim profile black anodized 6061 T6 aluminum handle, 4.55" closed, has the ambidextrous AXIS lock, safety and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade Knife. The Benchmade Emissary 477 Knife has an overall open length of 8", and it weighs 3.95 ounces.
