The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the Tanto Benchmade Griptilian Knife, designed by Mel Pardue. This Griptilian knife features a 3.40" part serrated tanto blade made of 154CM stainless steel, .115" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-61. The blade of this Benchmade knife has a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black Noryl GTX and Valox handle, 4.62" closed, has double stainless steel liners, ambidextrous AXIS lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade knife. The Benchmade Griptilian Knife with tanto blade has an overall open length of 8.07", and weighs 3.88 ounces. Made in the USA.
