The 01BO165 Boker Plus Kihon Assisted Copper Knife, designed by Lucas Burnley, is a sleek everyday carry that features a 3.35 inch harpoon style blade made of tough D2 tool steel, .14 inch thick, with a stonewash finish, dual thumb studs, flipper and Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The copper handle (which will develop a unique patina over time), 4.48 inches closed, has a ball bearing pivot for smooth action, sturdy steel liner lock, a large lanyard hole and a removable pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Boker Kihon Assisted Copper Knife has an overall open length of 7.83 inches, and it weighs 7.16 ounces. Made in China.

From the Boker website: With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon Assisted Copper the American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements down-to-earth in solid everyday knives. Features and the straightforward design bear witness to its high practical suitability and give the knife an ideal basis for everyday cutting work. The ball-bearing Harpoon blade made of D2 has a stonewash finish and opens with spring support via flipper or thumb stud. The blade is secured by a robust stainless steel linerlock. The copper handle fits securely in the hand in terms of shape and weight and shows a characteristic patina after only a short time. With lanyard hole, clip (tip-up/r) and high-quality nylon case for storage.

Awesome knife 11/07/2022
By Jordan
So far this knife has impressed me! It is not the most expensive knife that I’ve purchased so far, yet it has proven to to hold up much better than the other knives I’ve carried in the past. The patina of the copper handles has started to show just a little which i am excited about(i cant wait to see what it looks like in the years to come). So far i would give this knife an 8 out of 10. The top of the handles has an inset spot for the blade to rest its grips upon which in turn keeps the liner from over-locking when flipped open. It feels super sturdy and very well made. I would gladly recommend this knife to others! At a price around $130 you can’t beat the quality!
