From the Boker website: With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon Assisted Copper the American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements down-to-earth in solid everyday knives. Features and the straightforward design bear witness to its high practical suitability and give the knife an ideal basis for everyday cutting work. The ball-bearing Harpoon blade made of D2 has a stonewash finish and opens with spring support via flipper or thumb stud. The blade is secured by a robust stainless steel linerlock. The copper handle fits securely in the hand in terms of shape and weight and shows a characteristic patina after only a short time. With lanyard hole, clip (tip-up/r) and high-quality nylon case for storage.
