Boker Knives: Boker Plus Rold Knife, Black, BK-02BO292
The illustrated Boker Knife is the Boker Plus Rold Knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes of Voxknives, that features a 6" flat ground clip point fixed blade made of D2 steel. The blade of this Boker Knife has a non reflective black powder coat for corrosion resistance, a pronounced choil and notched thumb rest for secure grip. The Rold Knife has full tang construction for strength, blasted canvas Micarta scales and rivet tubes that function as a lanyard hole. A Kydex sheath with attachment is included with this Boker Knife. The Boker Plus Rold Knife has an overall length of 11", and it weighs 10.5 ounces.
From the Boker website regarding the Rold: Features blasted canvas Micarta handle scales, and a corrosion resistant powder coating on the blade and tang. ...The rivet tubes not only reduce the weight of the knife, but also allow the addition of a lanyard. The additional index finger choil gives the ability to grab the handle "short" for better control in fine and precise cutting tasks, while the notched thumb ramp and the dove tail shaped handle butt maximize the control in chopping and other heavy duty chores. The very well balanced design clearly shows the long years of experience from Jesper Voxnaes regarding the demands of hunting and the outdoors.
