The illustrated Buck Knife is the Hood Thug Knife, designed by Ron Hood and built to Buck's standards. The Buck Hood Thug Knife features a 7" drop point fixed blade made of 5160 steel, .185" thick. The blade of this Buck Knife has a powder coated finish for corrosion resistance and the Buck Knives / Ron Hood Thug logo. The Hood Thug Knife has full tang construction with a pronounced choil for secure grip, a Shock Mitigation System (SMS) to reduce wasted energy when chopping, removable black linen Micarta scales, and an extended pommel with lanyard hole. A heavy duty black MOLLE nylon sheath with front carry pouch is included with this Buck Knife. The Buck Hood Thug Knife has an overall length of 13", and it weighs 11.6 ounces.
