The illustrated Buck Knife is the Select Level Buck Selkirk Knife that features a 4 5/8" drop point blade made of 420HC stainless steel, .135" thick. The blade of this Buck Knife has a satin finish and a notched thumb rest for secure grip. The Brown and Black Micarta handle has grooves for secure purchase, a steel bolster and a steel pommel that is suitable for use as a light hammer. An injection molded sheath with horizontal carry option and a Ferrocerium Striker with emergency whistle are included with this Buck Knife. The Buck Selkirk Knife has an overall length of 9 1/2", and it weighs 7.6 ounces.

Buck created another great knife. Was looking for a full tang fixed blade that can be used for multiple purposes. This fits the bill. Looked at the Ontario blackbird and went with this blade based on brand reputation and you can't beat the price. It has everything I need and feels balanced. The blade didn't have a really sharp edge, but running it through my sharpener a few times got the blade razor shop. So far love the knife and will be taking with me this hunting season. Knives plus delivered my blade pretty fast. It was an easy transaction and I got blade in a couple of days. Would do business with them again.

My only complaint with this knife so far is it sits high on the belt but that's a hug matter of opinion. I think that way about most fixed blade knives' sheaths. The knife itself it insanely sharp and fits wonderfully in the hand. It's also a very good looking knife... but then again, it is a Buck.

Received this knife for Father's Day from my oldest son. I had considered ordering it several times before myself. No matter the country of origin this is a well made knife. Fit and finish are excellent, blade is very sharp. Fits the hand well. The sheath holds the knife securely. Thanks Sam.
