Ok Ok Ok, I bite my fingernails! I have all my life. I bought this tool to assist me in opening the knives I've collected(I'm rapidly approaching hoarding status). I did tie a paracord lanyard on it to make it more accessible. Cool tool!

I don't have long finger nails and my knife pick is critical it carries well on my key chain and is good solid construction.
