The illustrated Case Knife is the 6.5 BoneStag (6.5265SS) Case Folding Hunter Knife that features clip and skinner blades made of Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel with nail nicks for opening, and secondary 6.5 tang stamp. The hand flamed BoneStag handle of this Case knife, 5 1/4" closed, has a nickel silver Case Oval Script Shield and nickel silver bolsters. A genuine leather sheath is included with this Case Knife. I bought this knife, to remind me of a happier time in my life, when I was a young man growing up. My father, who was born before the Great Depression, came from a family of eight. The oldest child had this same style knife. My father received it after my uncle had passed. He in turn, handed it down to me. When my son gets a little older, I will hand this new knife over to him. This knife has the same characteristics as the knife before it. Couldn't be more pleased! We have a local knife shop that deals exclusively with case knives only. This same knife, in that shop, sells for $289.00! I'm so thankful to KnivesPlus for offering these knives at an affordable price that the average man can afford.
