The illustrated Case Knife is the Smooth Black G10 (10318SS) Case Medium Stockman Knife that features clip, sheepfoot and spey blades made of "as ground" Tru-Sharp surgical steel. The Smooth Black G10 handle of this Case knife, 3 5/8" closed, has a nickel silver Case shield and nickel silver bolsters. The Case Medium Stockman Knife with Smooth Black G10 handle weighs 2.5 ounces.
G-10 is a highly compressed epoxy resin and glass fiber composite. The resulting material is exceptionally strong, has thermal insulating properties, and is impervious to most chemicals.
