Case Knives: Case Black G10 RussLock Knife, CA-6235

The illustrated Case Knife is the Smooth Black G10 (101953LSS) Case RussLock Knife that features a locking clip blade made of "as ground" Tru-Sharp surgical steel with a jimped lever for one hand opening. The Smooth Black G10 handle of this Case knife, 4 1/4" closed, has a nickel silver Case shield, nickel silver bolsters and a liner lock. The Case RussLock Knife with Smooth Black G10 handle weighs 2.7 ounces.

G-10 is a highly compressed epoxy resin and glass fiber composite. The resulting material is exceptionally strong, has thermal insulating properties, and is impervious to most chemicals.

Please Note: the "as ground" blade finish is not polished.

Great source for knives 02/02/2017

Anyone familiar with Case quality knows that the quality is consistent. What make the purchase of the Case RussLock knife was the quality and the price provided by KnivesPlus. My research before purchase indicated that KnivesPlus had the best discounted price in the market. I had considered the purchase of a Case RussLock knife from another outlet but I would have been settling for a style (white synthetic bone with pink badge) that was not my favorite but had a decent price. I found my favorite style at KnivesPlus and the price was within a few dollars of the one with the pink badge. Comparison shopping convinced me that the price at KnivesPlus was the best discount -a savings that equaled nearly 25 % of the final purchase price. Delivery was sooner than I expected. As for the Black G10 RussLock...it was a little stiff when opening at first but as I expected, with use, the stiffness has disappeared. If one blade works for you...the Case RussLock is the knife to own.
