The illustrated Case Knife is the Smooth Black G10 (10355WHSS) Case Seahorse Whittler Knife that features Wharncliffe, pen and coping blades made of Tru-Sharp surgical steel. The blades have an As Ground (unpolished) finish, and nail nicks for opening. The Smooth Black G10 handle of this Case knife, 4" closed, has a nickel silver Case shield and nickel silver bolsters. The Case Seahorse Whittler Knife with Smooth Black G10 handle weighs 2.6 ounces. Made in the USA.
G-10 is a highly compressed epoxy resin and glass fiber composite. The resulting material is exceptionally strong, has thermal insulating properties, and is impervious to most chemicals.
