I'm a full time professional trapper and use my pocket knife several times a day, everyday. I like the utility of the three blades, but the Sow Belly's design, just feels like it belongs in my hand. It's a quality tool and should last me for the rest of my career time. It came to me so polished up I was afraid to use for fear of staining it up. You need to really care for the carbon steel though or you will notice staining start to develop almost immediately. The blades hold and edge well and will re-sharpen easily. I like mine better than the "Old Timer" I carried for many years before I finally wore out the blades and had to replace it. I Went to buy another and discovered they were made in China. Hence, back to American made and Case knives. After much back and forth between the Case Medium Stockman, Trapper and SowBelly, I decided on the Sow Belly for myself, and purchased a Medium Stockman for my daughter. We are both very pleased.
