Chris Reeve Knives: Chris Reeve Small Inkosi Knife, Drop Point, CRK-SIN1000
This Small Inkosi Knife, designed by Chris Reeve and manufactured by Chris Reeve Knives, features a 2.8 inch Crucible S45VN stainless steel drop point blade, .1280 inch thick. The blade has a special large hollow grind for strength, a tumbled finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and dual blue anodized titanium thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The 6AL4V titanium handle, 3.75 inches closed, has a tactile sand blasted finish for secure grip, a sturdy pivot with large pivot screw and pin, oversized bronze phosphor washers to eliminate sideways blade play, and the innovative Reeve Ceramic Ball End Integral Lock that uses a ceramic ball as an interface for the lock bar to the blade tang for consistent solid lock up. (The ball also drops into a detent on the blade to ensure the blade does not open accidentally.) The handle has open frame construction, a lanyard post, and a removable pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Small Inkosi has an overall open length of 6.5 inches, and it weighs 3 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.
