The Black Bear Classic Rubber Trainer, from Cold Steel knives, is a training version of the Black Bear Classic Cold Steel knife that has been fashioned to look as realistic as possible: for effective use in practice, training drills, disarming drills, and demonstrations. The 8 1/8" Santoprene rubber blade is soft enough to prevent most injuries to the body, but has a level of firmness that could cause injury to the face or the eyes. The use of appropriate eye and face protection is recommended. The Santoprene handle is deeply checkered for sure grip, and has a lanyard hole. The overall length of the Cold Steel Black Bear Classic rubber training knife is 13 1/8", and it weighs in at 3.7 ounces.
