The illustrated Cold Steel Knife is the Cold Steel TiLite Knife that is designed to be opened in three ways: choose the thumb stud on the blade, or utilize the integral blade extensions-the small extension at the bottom for an index finger trigger, and the larger, top extension for rotating the blade open with the thumb. The top extension may also be used for "open on withdraw" a technique that involves catching the guard against the pant pocket or leg for instantaneous opening.
Use extreme caution when utilizing any "open on withdraw" technique.The Small Cold Steel Ti-Lite Knife with Zy-Ex handle features a 4" stiletto style blade made of AUS8A stainless steel, 3mm thick. The blade of this Cold Steel knife has a false top edge, a thumb stud and dual blade extensions for one hand opening options. The two blade extensions also form an integral guard when the blade is locked open. The drilled black Zy-Ex handle, 4 3/4" closed, has a full length stainless steel leaf spring lock and liners for strength. A removable pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Cold Steel Knife. The Small Cold Steel Ti-Lite Knife with Zy-Ex handle has an overall length of 8 3/4" when open, and it weighs 3.5 ounces.
