Cold Steel Knives: Cold Steel Honey Comb, CS-92HC

The illustrated Cold Steel product is the Cold Steel Honey Comb; a fully functional hair brush with a handle that is actually a highly effective stiletto style dagger. The knife features single piece injection molded black Zy-Ex construction, 3 1/2" blade, 1/2" thick, with tapered cruciform cross section, and a grooved handle for secure grip. The round black polypropylene hairbrush of the Honey Comb slips down over the blade for storage. The Cold Steel Honey Comb has an overall length of 8 1/4", with the brush, and weighs 2.2 ounces.

Over the years have bought this brush for 3 different woman. I did not tell them about the knife part at first, wanted to see if they liked the brush. All 3 have thick hair and loved the brush, when I showed them the hidden knife they liked it even more.
Pros- Brush part very well constructed and works well. Knife part- hidden, very sharp and ideal for a last resort defensive weapon. Price.
Cons- nothing.

Bought one for my daughter and wife, they both like them - as a brush, and as a last resort that we all hope they will never need. Simple, straight forward, and easy to use. It would definitely do the job if required. Feels good in the hand and is light. The business end design makes it sturdy as well, not flimsy at all. Great price from Knives Plus, and they were shipped quickly.

I purchased this product from Knives Plus after finding it out of stock at a number of places, including the manufacturer. They had the brush at about 10 dollars less than the other websites that had it, and when there was a slight delay in shipping, I called them without any of my receipt info and they let me know where my package was and when it would be there.

It is what it is. Exactly as described and as expected. This thing will do some serious damage. And even though it's not as sharp as a knife, it offers something that a knife can't -- the element of surprise even when brandished in front of someone's eyes. It looks JUST like a hair brush and is extremely lightweight. I'm very pleased!

I purchased this as a replacement for the Cold Steel Honey Comb that I recently lost. I love this comb. Not only is it a durable comb which I use all the time, but it gives me peace of mind while working on the road.
