The illustrated Cold Steel Knife is the 3V Cold Steel Recon Tanto Knife that features a 7" tanto fixed blade made of U.S. CPM 3-V high carbon steel, 5mm thick, with a non reflective black DLC finish. The black Kray-Ex handle of this Cold Steel knife has deep checkering and integral finger guard for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. A Secure-Ex sheath is included with this Cold Steel knife. The 3V Cold Steel Recon Tanto Knife has an overall length of 11 3/4" and it weighs 9.6 ounces.

This knife is so comfortable in my hand. The grip is easy to hold and indexes very well. The balance of the knife is perfect. Good high quality steel and the bevels are even and exact. Razor sharp out of the box. I have other Cold Steel Tantos but this is the first with the Recon style grip. It quickly became my favorite Tanto. Not as pretty as some but this one is all business.

Lowest price of all the knife shops. Arrived quickly and came out of the box with matching Kydex sheath in perfect condition. Extremely sharp and holds that edge. Very durable and tough. Whichever Cold Steel knife you get, only go with the 3V steel.
