The illustrated CRKT knife is the Desert Tan CRKT Hissatsu Knife, designed by James Williams, a former Army officer and martial arts practitioner, with over 40 years of experience. The Desert Tan CRKT Hissatsu Knife features a 7.125" tanto blade made of 440A stainless steel, .20" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57. The blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective Desert Tan Titanium Nitride finish and a dual grind. The handle of this knife is a traditional Japanese pattern, with an emperor node that allows you to know by touch which way the blade edge is facing. The Twin-Fused handle has a high impact polypropylene core, and a non-slip Desert Tan Kraton surface. A molded Zytel sheath with removable belt clip that can be rigged for vertical or horizontal carry, and multiple lashing slots and holes is included with this CRKT knife. The Desert Tan CRKT Hissatsu Knife has an overall length of 12.25" and weighs 7.9 ounces.
