The CRKT Pack Axe, designed by North Carolina blacksmith and Vietnam war veteran Elmer Roush as part of the Forged by War program, is a compact tool suited for the backyard or the wilderness. The Pack Axe features a hot forged 1060 carbon steel head with a 2.92" cutting edge and a hammer finish, and a highly contoured Tennessee Hickory handle. The CRKT Pack Axe has an overall length of 11.25", and it weighs 1 pound 2.3 ounces.
As part of the Forged By War program, 10 percent of the CRKT net profits from the Pack Axe will be donated to Elmer Roush's charity of choice.
