Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Avant Knife, CR-4620


The CRKT 4620 Avant Knife is a compact classy everyday carry, designed by Oregon knifemaker Eric Ochs, that features a 3.175 inch drop point blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, .143 inches thick, with a satin finish, brass TiNi thumb disk accent, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The sleek black woven carbon fiber handle, 4.312 inches closed, has contrasting brass TiNi pivot detailing, the IKBS Ball Bearing Pivot System for smooth, fast opening, steel liners for strength, a liner lock and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Avant Knife has an overall open length of 7.50 inches, and it weighs 5.4 ounces.
