Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Desta Knife, CR-2784
The CRKT Desta Knife, designed by Arkansas knifemakers Pat and Wes Crawford, features a 2.574" drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .107" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59, a black stonewash finish, top swedge, and an oval hole for one hand opening. The slim profile skeletonized stainless steel handle, 3.664" closed, has a black stonewash finish, and a unique forward lockback that locks tighter into place the tighter that it is gripped. (To close the Desta, push up the spine near the pivot to disengage the lock.) A removable pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of the knife. The Desta Knife has an overall open length of 6.188", and it weighs 2.3 ounces. Made in China.
