Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Black E-Lock Knife, Part Serrated, CR-7313
The CRKT Black E-Lock Knife was designed by customer knife maker Allen Elishewitz. The E-Lock (patent pending) uses a stainless steel rocker bar that engages the blade for secure lock-up. The rocker bar has a strong spring that prevents accidental release, and it can be disengaged with one hand by pressing down firmly at just the right point.
The illustrated CRKT Black E-Lock knife features a 2.87" part serrated Wharncliffe blade made of AUS 8 stainless steel, .12" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade has a non-reflective ceramic bead blast finish, and a ramped thumb stud for one hand opening. The handle, 3.87" closed, has an open build with a 420J2 stainless steel frame, and a black Zytel back spacer. The handle frame has a mirror finished black titanium nitride coat, engine turned pattern black polycarbonate scales, the E-Lock, and a discrete carry stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. The Columbia River Knife and Tool Black E-Lock Knife weighs 3.6 ounces.
