Great Little Hex Drive 08/05/2023

I got this hex driver to go along with my FixItStick Ratcheting Tway Wrench for when I tear down my Syperco knives, work on ARs, or anything else that doesn't need my Milwaukee M18 Fuel to tear apart. Wish it was USA Made but the machining is pretty good and it's brass plus it has a magnet to hold bits. The built in bearing is ABEC 9 rated and very smooth, only issue I have is I wish the bearing could be removed to have storage spot in handle and easy way to replace bearing with ceramic version. Well worth the money and beats paying $140 for the TEC Accessories version of this driver.

I have FixItSticks ratcheting t handle, Pacific Sons Knife maintenance hex drive, etc... and this CRKT works just as well as both those other drives and is machined equally as good also. Brass with magnet in the tip and ball bearing handle. Only downside of these palm drives is if you have a loctited screw that's tuff then the Tdrive makes quick work of it where these have some trouble if you can't get a good grip. I saw these same drives being sold at 2x the price of what knivesplus was asking so that's why I ordered here. S&H was quick

This piece has very high quality materials and machining, however I'm not in love with the ergonomic design. IMO, the bearing on top is too large diameter and the knurling is too close to the end and should cover the whole lower part of the tool.

This little driver is pretty awesome! Great for making sure you don’t over torque screws. Just a very handy tool. I would recommend using only high quality Wiha bits with this or any other driver used for knife maintenance.

I have several bit drivers from Wiha and Ifixit bit kits. However, this CRKT bit driver makes working on my knives a lot faster (the ball bearing spinner makes unscrewing even screws with liberal does of Loctite easy)!
