The CRKT M16-03BK Knife, designed by Kit Carson of Vine Grove, Kentucky, is a welcome addition to the classic M16 lineup. The M16-03BK features a 3.55 inch spear point blade made of 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel, .12 inches thick, with a swedged tip, non reflective black oxide finish, dual thumb studs (that lock up against the frame for strength against sideways torque), and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The bronze color stainless steel handle, 4.66 inches closed, has milled holes for visual interest and to lessen weight, ergonomic contours for secure grip, sturdy frame lock, and a 4 position stainless steel pocket clip. The M16-03BK Knife has an overall open length of 8.25 inches, and it weighs 3.80 ounces. Made in China.
