Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Rakkasan Knife, CR-1520
The CRKT Rakkasan (Japanese for umbrella for falling) - a tactical fixed blade designed by Georgia knifemaker and war veteran Austin McGlaun as part of the Forged By War program, features a 4.894" clip point fixed blade made of SK-5 carbon steel, .147" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-58, and a non reflective black powder coated finish. The Rakkasan has full tang construction for strength, textured black G10 scales with grooves for secure grip, flared thong tubing pins and a lanyard hole. A black Kydex sheath with paracord lacing for attachment is included. The Rakkasan Knife has an overall length of 10.438", and it weighs 9.2 ounces. Made in Taiwan.
As part of the Forged By War program, 10 percent of the CRKT net profits from the Rakkasan Knife will be donated to the Austin McGlaun's charity of choice - The Green Beret Foundation.
