The CRKT TSR Knife, designed by New Mexico knifemaker Bob Terzuola, has a hidden feature - a survival kit nested in a hollow of the tang; the sheath has components for sharpening, fire starting and signaling that every outdoorsman can appreciate. The TSR (Terzuola Survival Rescue) has a modified drop point fixed blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .115" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58, a satin finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a lashing hole for spear option. The black GRN (glass reinforced nylon) handle has an easily detachable front scale, stainless steel tang with a hollow for the aforementioned survival kit (fish hooks, fish line and dental floss), and a lined lanyard hole with lanyard. The black GRN sheath has a ceramic sharpening edge, a magnesium edge, a reflective stainless steel signal plate and extra paracord. The CRKT TSR has an overall length of 9.25", and it weighs 4.3 ounces.
