Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Clark Fork Fillet Knife, CR-3085
The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Clark Fork Fillet Knife, designed by custom knifemaker Ken Steigerwalt, that features a 10.940" folding fillet blade made of 5Cr13MoV stainless steel, .060" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 53-55. The blade of this CRKT knife has a flat grind and a satin finish. The double injection molded GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 7.130" closed, has a Tail Lock safety bar that locks the blade securely in place when folded into the handle, and serves as a blade cover when extended. A reinforced nylon sheath is included with this CRKT knife. The CRKT Clark Fork Fillet Knife weighs 1.8 ounces.
From the CRKT website regarding the handle: Handles are comfortably shaped and the optimally sized finger grooves help to provide grip confidence equally well for both large, or small hands. A double injection mold process of both hard and soft polymers creates an ideal all-weather, textured handle surface.
