Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Fossil Knife, Small Black, CR-5461K
The illustrated CRKT Knife is the Small CRKT Fossil Knife, designed by Flavio Ikoma, that features a 3.41" part serrated drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .110" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The hollow ground blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective titanium nitride finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, a hole cutout, flipper and the IKBS system for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel handle, 4.31" closed, has a hammered finish, brown and black two tone G10 overlays and a frame lock. A removable steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this CRKT Knife. The Small Fossil Knife has an overall open length of 7.69", and it weighs 4.1 ounces.
From the CRKT website: The pocket knife features an IKBS ball bearing system, combined with an opening flipper for silky smooth blade deployment. The flipper turns into a handsome finger guard when the blade is open. A thumb hole cutout in the blade gives you a second option for opening the knife. The handles of the Fossil™ are stainless steel with a unique hammer finish. The knife locks open solidly with a frame lock. Duo-tone G10 scales add contour and grip to the handle. The pocket clip is tip-up carry only.
