The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Free Range Hunter Compact Folder, designed by custom knifemaker Russ Kommer, that features a 3.350" clip point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .120" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade of this CRKT knife has a hollow grind, a notched thumb rest and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The hard black injection molded polymer handle, 4.580" closed, has soft gray injection molded polymer finger grooves and spine for secure grip, a lockback and a lanyard hole. A removable low carry pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT knife. The CRKT Free Range Hunter Compact Folder with clip point blade has an overall open length of 7.810", and it weighs 3.6 ounces.
From the CRKT website regarding the handle: Handles are comfortably shaped and the optimally sized finger grooves help to provide grip confidence equally well for both large, or small hands. A double injection mold process of both hard and soft polymers creates an ideal all-weather, textured handle surface.
