From the CRKT website: Ken Onion designed this big survival parang to make quick work of whatever stands between you and staying alive. It's got a carbon steel blade with a black powder coat that makes this knife durable in extreme environments. A traditional Southeast Asian blade shape -- combined with a modern ergonomic handle -- give this parang maximum cutting power, with minimal hand fatigue. Multiple lanyard holes in the handle let you choose where and how to attach a safety lanyard. This knife is built for hard use and even takes an edge in the field after you've finished cutting your way out of the bowels of the jungle.
