From the CRKT website: The HoodWork® is a Karen Hood survival knife that is born and bred to keep you innovative and alive in the woods. It's a USA made, modified drop point blade with exclusive, patented Veff Serrations™ and a G10 handle that is comfortable and confident in hand. The scales are removable so you can lighten the load and wrap the handle with paracord. The holes in the handle are for arrow straightening.
The HoodWork® (Work stands for Wilderness Outdoor Recreation Knife) survival knife is crafted from a solid billet of 1095 high carbon steel that is sandblasted, then sealed with a clear Cerakote coating for durability in harsh conditions. An orange 550 paracord lanyard keeps the knife close at hand. The custom sheath is made in the USA from 6/7 oz. full grained leather. The leather is vegetable tanned and will not corrode metal. It is hand oiled for durability and beauty, then locked stitched with heavy weight nylon thread. The sheath fits belts with widths up to 2.5 inches. It includes a small pouch for carrying firesteel, tinder or other essentials.
