The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT M16 SS EDC Special Forces Knife, designed by Kit Carson, that features a 3.00" part serrated tanto blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .098" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective black finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, dual thumb studs and dual Carson Flippers for ambidextrous one hand opening. The Carson Flippers also serve as a cross guard when the blade is deployed. The drilled stainless steel handle, 4.00" closed, has a non reflective black oxide finish, a frame lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible black stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this CRKT Knife.
