Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Shinbu Knife, CR-2915
The illustrated CRKT knife is the CRKT Shinbu Knife, a modern version of the close quarters sword of the Samurai, designed by James Williams. The Shinbu Knife (divine valor) features a 9.25" tanto fixed blade made of YK-30 high carbon steel, .233" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59. The blade of this CRKT Knife has a dual grind and a high satin finish. The Shinbu Knife has full tang construction with black cord wrapped handle and ray skin underlays. A custom fit Kydex sheath with convertible belt mounting system is included with this CRKT knife. The CRKT Shinbu Knife has an overall length of 14.75" and it weighs 13.3 ounces.
